Brogue shoes - skinhead fashion

I remember brogues from when the skinheads used to wear them in the early 80s and I must say that I still like them. This pair is a bit pricey but they are a gorgeous brogue. Prince of Wales trousers or something similar would go nice with them, with a crombie overcoat and a button down shirt. Skinheads were the best dressers in town. Does anyone wear brogues these days?

Must say, I never noticed Nationalist skins wearing brogues - it was always those 'Spirit of '69' "Traditional" skins.

Still got a pair of steel toe cap black brogue safety shoes from my engineering days, does that count? Going a bit bald and liking some of the music is as close to being a skinhead as I get.

I used to drool at Crockett & Jones window in the Burlington Arcade, Mayfair when I was at lunch.

Skinhead-trash in Coventry used to wear black Doc Martens boots - only. Hence their use by the thugs in Clockwork Orange.
