Time 16.37 Weds 9-3-12. Just got a warning from Groogle chrome that there is a virus operating from this site. It appears to operate on the BNP page so some one is upset by them.

I have suddenly started getting those flash ads again that disappeared for a while, and have reappeared in conjunction with these 'virus' threads.

It's just audio this time, no video, and I have to log on to get rid of them. it does show that a file (flash) has been placed on my machine and is executing without my permission

I don't mind the ads being there, it's the fact that they play without my clicking on them that bothers me.

I've changed my browser's preferences form 'block unwanted pop-ups to 'block all popups'. i've never really attended to this before.
I've also disabled sound in web pages, but I don't think this affects the fact that the ad is doing something unbidden, it just means I can't hear it.

Forgot to add - this only happens as soon as the BNP sub forum link is clicked. Prior to that, no warnings show at all!

Do not do as it asks you to. It is maybe a sucker prog. You go to the page it directs you too, and it is too late. The software installs in the background.
