The two books, the Old and New Testaments, are taken as the one Holy Bible of the Christians. The Ten Commandments, for example, are accepted by Christians, even though they are in the Old Testament. All the prophets are revered.

Like the Holy Qur'an, the Holy Bible can not be altered. They are divinely inspired. In the final part of the Book of Revelations it reads:

"And if any man shall take away the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life ...".

I have the King James Version of the Holy Bible and it begins with the Book of Genesis and ends with the Book of Revelations.

You are wrong to say that the New Terstament supersedes the Old Testament. Christians hold to both in one Bible.

The Ten Commandments are only in place is as much as they are summed up as Jesus said by two new commandments.i.e. Love God and love your neighbour as yourself. A quick glance at the original ten will make the point.

The first four are covered by "Love God " and the remainder by "Love your neighbour."

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'
THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'
