Default CH4 tonight - Make Bradford British

Make Bradford British - Features - Home - Channel 4

I have a feeling that this is CH4's balancing article, having given a reasonably pro EDL type programme this week, it is time to show that multiculti can work and everyone can live together in Bradford.

It will be a shame if they go down this route, like they did with that Dooley women documentary last week.

CH4 seems to swing from doing honest programmes showing the real gritty truth and exposing what is really happening, to reverting to normal MSM and pretending that there isn't a problem and sweeping it under the carpet.

    Dooley was BBC, not C4.

Anyway if You entitle somthing "MAKE" Bradford British, then You are admitting it isn't British now.

As You can't make somthing it is already.

    I quite like it.

It highlights that political correctness is a joke and that everyone, regardless of creed feel abused by Mr X. The black woman obviously lives on planet Earth and the old liberal white woman lives in lala land. The program obviously chose the dimmest Muslim couple on Earth to try and show them in a moderate light.

However, they could all be actors.

Oops, just heard the Muslim girl say "people should be forced to live together" then a little tear.

What a load of pish. The usual start, the Muslim gets castigated for running off for 2 or 3 hours when he should be going for one prayer and getting the food. Note that the food was halal, I wonder if in return he will have to eat non halal pork, so that each person appreciates the other culture. I think not.

The the ex-copper says some honest words, about the fact that most of us non PC people use words that aren't meant in an offensive way, but in a jovial manner. Thankfully he didn't when interviewed about it, crumble and start apologising for being a racist.

However, the next day they had the white (and I say white, because the black British guy didn't) British guys all wearing Muslim pyjammas. I do hope that they're going to balance it out by having the Muslim women wear a shortish skirt and blouse with no headdress.

The old (mid sixties) liberal women was truly living on another planet. The black guy, seemed okay, wanted to be British, and hold British values, had his England football shirt. However, the documentary programmers seemed to be doing a little bit of NLP on him and trying to make him question his Britishness. The black woman or rather, brown, perhaps I need to use the latest PC phrase, mixed heritage, also seemed to be fine. But again the programme makers seemed to be doing their best to create some racial tension in her.

I shall watch next week's episode, but don't expect too much.
