    Default Liverpool Mayoral election

The Liverpool mayoral election predictably produced dismal results for nationalists, but congratulations to Paul Rimmer of the English Democrats for winning the mini-contest between three present and former BNP activists!

Labour's Joe Anderson won the mayoralty with 59.3%. Adam Heatherington of UKIP finished 8th with 2.4%; Paul Rimmer for the EDs 9th with 1.4%; Mike Whitby of the BNP 11th with 1.0%; and Peter Tierney of the NF 12th with 0.6%.
