So IRA terrorists are given refuge in camp x ray?
Juveniles, who were taken prisoner whilst involved in illegal attacks.
Hardly the same as locking up a 5 year old just because he is American!!

USA harboured IRA murderers for years. The IRA had an office in New York just down from the Twin Towers. It was only closed when Bush asked the UK to join the War on Terror. He had to be told that we wouldn't support him until he stopped the USA being a state sponsor of terrorism. Frequently NORAID would have functions where they raffled such nice things as rifles that had been used in the terrorist murders.

The USA uses extreme rendition to randomly seize and transport people to Guantanamo Bay where they can be tortured by serving US military and intelligence (?) operatives free from the constraints of the constitution. How hypocritical is that? Nobody in our country can be held for any length of time without a court order; even our anti-terrorist legislation is carefully limited courtesy of a democratic Parliament telling dictator Blair where to get off.

British lives were saved because on information recieved there.

No one can be detained in the USA without due cause.
They must be indicted or arraigned and offered bail unless a valid risk exists if bail is granted.
