Commercial TV's revenue depends on the size of its audience. If a channel's viewing figures decrease, then its advertising revenue decreases. In the case of commercial TV, people can withdraw their custom, without losing the option to take their custom elsewhere by viewing rival channels.

Customers can choose not to buy a product or service, if they disagree with a company's advertising policy. There is no choice when it comes to the BBC. Their mind numbing pseudo adverts still have to be paid for even if a person never buys that BBC product or never watches a BBC channel. When I still used to watch BBC, before I wised up to them, I was often heartily sick of a programme before it had even been aired, simply because of having seen its trailer twenty two million times on BBC channels.

And with this comes it's own brand of Pro-immigrant left wing politics and arrogance. I'd love to see them squirming at the mere thought of being privatised and broken up. They'd never get away with far left Buslhyte if this happened.

It's not the thought of privatisation that scares the Beeb it's the loss of a free left wing rein.

    Ecstatic!

    Because then-

    Watch my lips -

I wouldn't have to pay for its bias via a TV ownership tax!

    Is it getting through yet?

    Is it?

No wonder the UK is in so much trouble with so many morons. As an example, 10 million watched Liverpol and Cardiff in the Carling Cup. Then there will be the morons watching East Enders etc etc.

I'm sure I've watched a few BBC programme recently so I must be a moron too. Odd that I can type at all, as a moron, but there you go.

At least we have you to fall back on in the intellectual stakes. Thank goodness for tradition and sound common sense.

Has anyone registered on their web site so that you can leave a comment on the stories they cover?
They really believe in engaging with the public don’t they?

    Dear Black Broadcasting Corporation,

I'd just like to tell you how sick we are of you ramming ethnics down our throats all day, and over the top political correctness on childrens TV which has become an icon for leftwingness with Blacks, Whites, Asians, Orientals, One armed presenters, Dwarfs sorry I mean vertically challenged people, downs syndrome sufferers all thrown together in one big melting pot, that is mixed up with sign language and called childrens TV.

Would it not be possible to concentrate on the merits of each programme and choose presenters on their ability to present programmes instead of skin colour, ethnicity, political correctness etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Here's to the next right wing government, bottoms up!

A letter like that you mean, think they'll enjoy that?

    I guess that’s a no then?
Nobody comments in ‘Have Your Say’ on the BBC web site.
I must admit though from what I’ve seen, the stories they allow comments on are carefully chosen.
I don’t think they would allow you to comment on “Should the BBC be privatised”, even if they had the courage to publish such a story in the first place.
Better still, they could run a poll on this. That would show their critics they believed in democracy.

Howard Kirk, one of TV's all time great a...holes.

I saw it first on BBC4 a couple of years ago. Which you might percieve as the BBC's moron-free outpost and is currently showing the Singing Detective.

The college campus set Very Peculiar Pratice is also worth catching.
