Yes indeed, every little helps towards the relentless march towards a fascist Zionist state where slavery is the norm. A certain well-known supermarket that likes to censor Internet discussions tells us it is all a big mistake, and yet if you read the comments from normal people you would find out that there is no mistake.

Yes, brought to you by the company that bypasses the UK labour force and advertises directly for employees in Poland without advertising the same job here, at all. The same company (and this is from a discussion with an HGV delivery driver for Tesco) that moved it's depot from South Wales to Bristol and tries to employ as many Polish people as possible in the warehouse rather than British people.

Great one from the comments section.

Tescos have tried to set up shop in my town. The first time they tried it ended in the government commissioning a special planning investigation. This was central government and one of only a few hundred per year. I don't know what they were investigating, but Tescos suddenly withdrew their application in a hurry. Now having bribed the council to fund 'yoof workers' that teach the kids graffiti, the council decided to allow it. Just as they did so Tescos decided to rescind their offer of council funding and have since made the council absolutely furious with them. However, the tale doesn't stop there. A friend of a friend has decided to squat the very building Tescos have purchased that is due to be knocked down so they can build the new Tescos. This squatter is as far as I can tell very clued up on the laws to do with squatting, which means if he is kicked out or Tescos even enters their building he can phone the police and have them arrested! It seems petitions are one thing, council promises are the same thing, but what this guy has actually done is working. He's holding up the development of a 40 000sq ft slave business, and he is a local hero.

Tescos have demanded changes and other retailers have now pulled out of this slave labour scheme in the face of so much adverse publicity. Which goes to show what the public can do just with Twitter and Facebook. We need more protests like this to get things changed.

Tesco are only demanding changes because of the negative publicity.

I do not believe their claim that the job in East Anglia was an "IT Error".

Had their been no fuss I am sure they would have carried on regardless.

I have stopped shopping in Tesco and am avoiding other companies that use JSA labour. There is a list on the MSE forums.

I don't like Tesco, I don't like any monster supermarket, but I like squatters even less. Mon Baron, you have certainly nailed your colours to the mast.

I don't know this person at all. He's just someone that someone I know knows. Anyway, I'm not certain he is a 'squatter' per se. He seems to be doing it more for political reasons - you know, like that chap who camped outside the Houses of Parliament. The interesting thing is, and why I bothered to mention it, is that squatting laws are biased in favour of the squatter to a remarkable degree. This certainly makes a novel use out of them. I give him 10/10 for lateral thinking.
