As I believe there is no site in England identified. There is one in Wales already considered as a viable option. The fear; as I understand it, is Wales may be next to secede.
In addition to austerity cuts, rUK can not afford it.
The UKs AAA credit rating is being reviewed at this time. The money to move it might cost more.
All debts and assets will be fairly devided. The UK government stands to return a profit on the HBOS and RBS takeovers. Unlike the shoddy handling of Northern Rock.
I believe rUK and Scotland have little to fear on this.
I would welcome feedback to the contrary.
The government is commited to keeping Nuclear Weapons as is the official Opposition, if it is to be Wales then so be it, at the moment Plaid is only the 3rd largest party in the assembly and there is no mandate for referendum, the situation in both wales and Northern ireland are different.

Yes I am aware of the support for constitutional change in England. We Scots can do nothing about that, it's not our fight. On your last, I agree. Personally I have been in support of your respectable and just aspirations for democracy in England, my posting history confirms that. Uncles, Cassie and their ilk screwed you..... not the Scots.
Trident for the moment is staying where it is because that is in the intrests of all the UK, which is what the Westminister government is responsible for, of course should Scotland decide to leave then that will have to change. In the meantime the policy of Her Majestys Government and she is Queen of Scotland as well is that we retain Trident, the government have a clear mandate on this and until the First Minister gains a mandate to change the matter then really then it really is specualtion
