Thread: Is One England Still Active?

  1. #1

Default Is One England Still Active?

Iím sure Iím not the only who has noticed that One England has become rather quiet over the last 6 months. Indeed, I have not noticed any sort of meaningful activity since a Parish Councillor was elected unopposed in the May elections last year.

Iíve also noticed that the website has either been taken down or is having some sort of technical problems which, apparently, has been the case for the last week or so.

But even then, the last update I noticed on the website was dated sometime in mid-2011.

Granted, I donít really keep-up with the goings on in One England but it does seem as though, from and outsiders perspective, itís winding things up.

Perhaps there are some behind the scenes plans being set in motion? Maybe it is merely in a state of temporary inactivity for whatever reason? Or is it throwing in the towel?

Are there any One England officials available who can provide a bit if clarity on the issue?

The prONE ENGLANDERS have no leader and only two supposed members I believe. The only other member is in a long term dormant mode still I understand. No biggie as they had nobody following them either, especially on here.

Tom stop being a dummy, you have no party and no one likes you.

Andrew there are things going on behind the scenes as you said. Wait and see.

If you are interested in real dead organisations just take a look at anything hartlepool has been involved in!

    He is chairman of this,

    The Campaign for English Independence

From its news page it seems to have died the day it was born!

He is also Party Leader of the English Independence Party. (Though it is in a vegetative state.)

Carefull, the Electoral Commission think you are!

For some reason I can't link to the actual EIP registration page.

    But if you,
    Click on the above link.
    Click on the 'Registration Search.
Type 'English independence Party' into the 'Free text search' box.
Click on the party id when it comes up.

    You should see,

Party Leader: Mr Tom W Wyatt

Nominating officer: Mr Andrew James Constantine

    Treasurer: Mr Andrew James Constantine

    Campaigns officer: None

Other officers: Mr Albert Edward Leech

Party administrators: Mr Andrew James Constantine.

You would expect a Party Leader to know that he is a Party Leader!

I resigned quite a while ago. Someone needs to update their records.

It is up to Constantine or yourself to inform the Electoral Commission of your decision.
As the legally registered Party Leader you are the person that would be held responsible if anything hits the fan with the EIP.
