Right by whose definition of 'right'? It seems to me that censorship of this nature is more left than right.

Why is it not? It looks pretty much like it to me. In an average Telegraph article maybe one in 50 to one in 100 comments get moderated, except when it is a PC topic. Tell me why these sexual deviants should get special rights above the rest of us. Obviously many people are disgusted by it, but they are gagged.

The BBC went down the road proposed for the NHS a long time ago, i.e. a private company paid to handle moderation of comments, with its employees taking no interest in the principles on which the Beeb was founded, but caring only about their wages. Tempero is the company involved.

Our heroine Lynne now finds she is fighting a holy war.

Cardinal Keith O’Brien, the leader of the Catholic Church in Scotland, says the proposals to allow same-sex unions are “madness” and a “grotesque subversion of a universally accepted human right”.

The cardinal’s intervention, in an article for The Sunday Telegraph, is the strongest criticism yet from any church figure of the plans, which are due to be unveiled this month by Lynne Featherstone, the equalities minister.

He accuses ministers of trying to “redefine reality” and change long-standing laws and traditions “at the behest of a small minority of activists”.

Meanwhile Cameron is merrily rewriting the definition of Conservatism!

Mrs Featherstone is to launch a consultation on how the changes will come about this month. Despite opposition from some sections of his party, the Prime Minister has personally associated himself with the proposals.

Mr Cameron told last year’s Tory conference in Manchester: “I don’t support gay marriage in spite of being a Conservative. I support gay marriage because I am a Conservative.” Last week his spokesman said he was “passionate” about the issue.

“I don’t support gay marriage in spite of being a Conservative. I support gay marriage because I am a Conservative.”
This is what I have been saying for a long time, Conservatives are conserving the gains made by the previous generation of cultural marxists.

In the USA they had about 30 state plebiscites on the issue of whether to allow gay marriage or not and the gay lobby has been defeated everytime.

It won't stop at 'gays' being allowed to 'marry'. Schoolchildren will need to be 'educated' about these changes to the marriage laws irrespective of whether it is state school or a 'faith' school. 'Faith' schools and religious institutions will not be able to opt out of employing these married gay couples.

The Catholic Church has already had to shut their adoption services in order to avoid sinning. They might have to shut their schools as well if this happens.

Here is the latest bit of fascism from the dictator.

The Government’s national consultation document, which was published this morning, asks the public whether they “agree or disagree” with allowing homosexual couples to have civil weddings.

But it makes clear that, while the question is posed in principle, it is a matter of “how not whether” the change is introduced.

It also warns that the Government will take into account the various points raised in the consultation but “not the number of responses received”.

Lynne Featherstone, the Equalities Minister, said that the launch of the paper was a “hugely important step”, upholding principles of “family, society and personal freedoms”.

But opponents of the move immediately accused the Government of holding a “sham” consultation” in which opposition would be “ignored”.
Ask the public about it and then ignore them completely. It's known as a public consultation.

We are told that homosexual marriage will not be forced on the churches.
Yet we must all remember the case of the hotel owners who refused to let two gays stay at their hotel.
This was ruled unlawful by the courts and they were ordered to pay £3,600 in damages.

I know. I see people spitting out those lies.

    Read the proposals!!!

This is Civil Marriage (in a registry office), not church / religious marriage. Religious marriage in a church isn't being changed, so gay couples still won't be allowed to apply to a church for a ceremony.

It is only for marriage in a registry office.

It's only this and it's only that. Don’t worry; everything is alright, your government knows best.
