I believe that they have a law enacted in the 1990's that says that they have to withdraw funding if UNESO make Palestine a member. What kind of country actually brings in such a silly law? They went around trying to strong arm and bribe other states to not vote for the Palestinians and they failed. Good that they do not have a veto in the General Assembly.

Why should the USA cough up funds to pay for it's enemies to attack it.
If the UN wishes to spout lies and propaganda against the USA, they shouldn't expect the USA to pay for it.
Most believe all UN funding should have been witheld when the WHO released their dishonest hate fueled lies about the USA.
Look at how the UN rants and propagates against the USA when the USA follow an isolationist stance( think Bosnia in the early 90s).
Then compare how the UN rants and propagates against the USA when they fold to the UN demands and do as the UN insists( think Kosovo in the late 1990s).

A little line in a the nations primary legal document reads that no laws specifically protecting any faith may be made and that no law specifically restricting any faith may be made.
It's called separation of church and state.
