Default The US Democracy: Getting Away with Torture

"There is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes. The only question that remains is to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account" – Maj. Gen. Antonio Taguba, June 2008.

Broken Laws, Broken Lives » Preface to Broken Laws, Broken Lives

As there is also no longer even a doubt that under the mask of the worldwide promoted American democracy in the US they themselves forge simple policy of double standards. Interestingly, the Obama’s administration still hasn’t initiated any inquiry into the Bush’s administration CRIMINAL activity having even currently all the needed incontrovertible evidences, and as I can see will hardly initiate in the nearest future. So... that makes me to guess that today it turns to be more than possible that behind the White House’s and the Pentagon’s walls the permissions to use "enhanced interrogation techniques" are alive and doing ‘well’. Meet true American democracy...

Victors don't get prosecuted. "Victor" in this case might not be appropriate, but as they are stronger than everyone else, who is going to prosecute them? To think that the Obama administration would prosecute the Bush administration is a little naive. Administrations might have changed, but those behind the scenes remain (whether they be lobbyists, army, money men, whatever etc).

If the Bush administration is to be investigated for wrongdoing, the Blair administration should also be investigated for complicity at least. Is either is likely to happen?

Blair might be brought to task for misleading Parliament and that is about all I can see, although I suspect it would have been done by now if it was ever going to happen. That and Dr. David Kelly, although that seems to have been buried nice and deep.

Alls fair in love and war!
Us democracy is for the USA!
the rights and responsibilities therein do not extend to the nationals of backward primitive nations that choose to indulge in actions threatening the USA!!
If they want freedom and democracy they should instill it and stop threatening the USA!!

I note that whilst shunting and handwringing about the nasty Americans no one even cares that these people brought the wrath of the USA upon themselves!!

The USA has broken no laws!!
If the rest of the world believe they have, why not do something about it?

Perhaps an international force invading the USA?
    it will be annihilated.
The USA is right, the enemies of the USA wrong.

    Simple, don't like it?
    Stop ******* with it!!

The EU ENGAGES IN KIDNAPPING, torture and imprisoning of 5 year olds, just because they happen to be AMERICAN!!

    Liam McCarty for example!!

    Grenada:
The commie rat airport was built by Canada and UK.
wiki-" Congressman Louis Stokes stated: "Not a single American child nor single American national was in any way placed in danger or placed in a hostage situation prior to the invasion." The Congressional Black Caucus denounced the invasion and seven Democratic congressmen, led by Ted Weiss, "introduced a quixotic resolution to impeach Reagan...which would, of course, go exactly nowhere."[5]

In the evening of 25 October 1983 by telephone, on the newscast Nightline, anchor Ted Koppel spoke to medical students on Grenada who stated that they were safe and did not feel their lives were in danger. The next evening, again by telephone, medical students told Koppel how grateful they were for the invasion and the Marines, which probably saved their lives. State Department officials had assured the medical students that they would be able to complete their medical school education in the United States."

The US kidnapped an Australian Muslim in Afghanistan for no reason and interrogated him in Guantanamo Democracy Freedom Dungeon for years. Americans have the biggest testicles.
