STAB might be a (misplaced) derogatory reference to the Territorial Army. Stupid TA Bas*ard. Would also tie in with the weekend bit.

What have the Islamics ever done fer US?
Islam
Eh, like the guy who was killed in Saladin's tent, or all of the bodies of Christians lying slaughtered? The only good guy bit was at the end was when the Christians were allowed to evacuate Jerusalem. Don't know if that was true or not, but Crusaders massacred people in Jerusalem in 1099. Good and bad on both sides.
I was disappointed, good visuals but the story and characters lacked emotional impact and Orlando Bloom seemed miscast.
I preferred the gory mini-series Spartacus Blood and Sand, in 'googling' I was surprised to discover that Any Whitfield was born in Wales, and shocked and sad to discover he died just a couple of weeks back with non-hodkins lymphoma.
'Kill Them All' was one of the series buzz words which is sometimes how I feel about politicians when I reflect on the sacrifices of our long lost relatives and what is going on in society and the demise of our democracy.
RIP Andy Whitfield.
