Default Anyone interested in doing a political wiki?

Would enough people here be interested in doing a British/EU political wiki? The idea would be to build up a large database of political knowledge about politicians, laws, public figures, party policies and so on. Obviously it would have to be done in a objective manner (no promotion/slating of parties), but it could provide a serious platform for clear presentation of various information that doesn't make it into the mass media.

This would be a mediawiki installation, bridged from this forum so you can use the same username and password on both.

I'm familiar with MediaWiki, Tony.
I was more referring to potential issues of keeping the content quality high.

I suppose that if we can limit those who can edit it, then we can just block anyone who doesn't stick to the rules.

What would be your criteria for "limit[ing] those who can edit it"?
