Even within a single community, region or country, there are varying intellects.

A fair number of posts/posters here seem to treat or consider Africa as a single entity.

To quote just a few:

The very title of the thread suggests that it is a single entity.

It seems that ignorance abounds.

The diversity between the different nations in the African continent is stark.

Niger fertility rate is 7.37 per woman. Life expectancy is 44. Prevalence of aids is 1.2%.

For Algeria fertility rate is 1.86, life expectancy is 72, and prevalence of aids is 0.1%.

Selling (the idea of) condoms to Nigeriens might be difficult.

Selling them to Algerians would be pointless.
