If you mean English anthems then that is not really my business, but Cornwall should get one. If you mean British I wouldn't say any of those because they are either English or boring like God save the Queen and Rule Britannia(which is also pro-Empire.).
I think the Skye boat song, Derwentwater's farewell or Wha'll Be King But Charlie? Would be my selection.

I think that is a good thing. Not only am I Cornish but I'm a decentralist.

Excuse me? I really don't know what I have done to annoy, I haven't spoken to you much at all. I simply believe you don't have an respect for those who disagree with you.

Neither is a reason to give Cornwall it's own anthem. Cornwall is part of England, this is not likely to change. I'm not even sure there's anything that's suitable for a 'Cornish anthem'.

The main reason it won't become independent is because although I'd say many support it ideally they both don't rank it as a high priority and generally think in material terms, at the current time, it would harm them. I myself probably favour autonomy within the UK. Quote:

You say that like it's a bad thing. May I remind the good sir that the British Empire did some tremendous good in the world, in particular all but ended the scourge of slavery.
Sure, the British Empire did some evil things too but show me any nation, any empire that has not done evil.

I'm against all empires. Whatever good the British empire did, it doesn't make up for the invading other people's countries and forcing other views on them and taking their resources. But our Empire was reasonably benign compared to some, I agree with.
We can talk about its good work as long as recognise the fundamental idea of invading and enslaving others is extremely wrong.
