I read another one of his books, which details the Cliveden Set and a lot of skulduggery going right back to South Africa and details the going on with secret societies at Balliol College & the Toynbee connection etc. It's gripping stuff and this man was in the know as well, being personally in contact with the inner circle.

He did actually agree with a lot of their cause, being a bit of a socialist himself, but was appalled by their methods. The result of the cause is the EU of course, which is a part of the plot for some form of world socialism. Mind you his motive was really one of creating an historical record of events as accurately and scholarly as he could, so he is generally even-handed and very detailed. It's also very well written and puts a lot of books to shame these days.

i`m also reading this book at the moment , it truly is an incredibley honest account of history from someone who had knowledge of what really happened.

a good accompaniment to this one is "the anglo american establishment" also Carroll Quigley , this is from the back of the book :-

"No country that values its safety should allow what the milner group accomplished - that is , that a small number of men would be able to wield such power in administration and politics, should be given almost complete control over the publication of documents relating to their actions ,should be able to exercise such influence over the avenues of information that create public opinion, and should be able to monopolise so completely the writing and the teaching of the history of their own period. "

i believe Tragedy and Hope caused quite a stir when it was released and it was withdrawn for a number of years .

here is a link where it can be read on-line (abridged version i think ??)

Default What his title means...

The "Hope" in the title of Quigley's book represents a collectivist one-world society which will be created when the "network" (international bankers) achieves its goal of world government. Quigley believed that the "network" (he even says the network is the international bankers) is so powerful at this point that resistance by the common people is futile. Those who resist the schemes of the globalist planners represent the "Tragedy." By Dr. Quigley's logic, "there is no point in struggling against the noose around our necks, because resistance will merely guarantee strangulation".

On page 1199, he states, "human being are basically conservative." He further implies "conservative" as a nasty lifestyle.

He is correct and the powers that be are doing all to brainwash us into
a left mindset worldwide.
