Watched the video. My personal opinion, is I don't much like any religion and Islam is no different.

Every religion has its nutter fundamentalist branch and at the moment, Islam seems to be the market leader on that front.

However, I also believe over fascist groups, use them as an excuse to whip up fear and loathing.

I know plenty of Muslims who are moderate and just want a quite life, like the rest of us. I went to Morocco last year and they treated me with kindness, even after what Blair did in our name.

So I tend to try and judge individuals than groups. I don't think Islam will ever grow beyond a certain level and definitely not in rich countries. They are human and once they get a taste of freedom, the majority want to have more.
  3. Thanks for the reply, I think we EU sceptics are on the increase, only last night I met the boyfriend of a family member. He's 18 and he told me he's pro UKIP and intends to vote UKIP at the next election. He told me this before he knew I was a UKIPPER. He said he wouldn't join the party though, (doesn't want to become involved) I let him have the latest DVD.

I have only read a summary of it, which is a broadly Libertarian vision of how thinks should work.

I have met Daniel Hannan. He seems pretty genuine to me. He gets a lot of media space, considering he is a crummy MEP, so I guess he has a good excuse for sticking with the Tories for now.
  5. Thank you Matt. Yes you can put me down as a friend. I am not really a political person and to me the forum is more of a hobby than anything else. I can't believe half the 'tossers' who post on the forum , I'm sure they're just wind up merchants!
    Cheers Neil Kernick (Kernow)

Because much as I disagree with certain things you say, I believe you are an honest and well intentioned bloke, who I have pretty much respected since my time on here. If you don't think the same, then feel free to ignore.

Hi Neil, The National would've been won by Iris de Balme, I'm sure, if it hadn't have had to miss this season. (Pulled out of the 10 to follow list last week). OEDIPE appears to have been handled like a very, very good horse and having won the 3m hcp chase at Aintree in April which State of Play won in his year before he won the Hennessey at Newbury, I think he has a chance 2nd to none in 3 weeks time. By the way, why has there been no Stable Tour of Henderson's Yard in the media this year? Is there a spat between him and the Post? Lastly, did you see Pandorama at Navan yesterday? It doesn't do to go over top so early in the season but it'll take a very, very, good horse to turn him over this season. Hope all is well with you, regards, Roger Gough
  8. So you think 11 condemning resposes over a 7 year period is a good response from a major World Religeon, to the deaths of hundreds? I'm afraid you and I have very different ideas as to what is right and what is wrong!
