The decade commencing 2010 is generally regarded as the 'Age of Capitulation', or simply 'Capitulation', although some would argue that Capitulation began much earlier. Capitulation can be summed up as a willingness by the state to capitulate to the requests and demands of a minority. The Age of Capitulation was fairly short, it spanned a period of only approximately 30 years, but it is essential to understand it if we are to understand the present age, the Age of Acceptance, sometimes described as 'Acceptance.' It is worth noting that the Age of Acceptance is the exact opposite to the Age of Reason, an age during the 18th. century during which we emerged from the mysticism, religion, and superstition of the Middle Ages, and began to create an open society in which individuals were free to pursue personal happiness and liberty.
