Just shows what difference one hard working local councillor and the local UKIP team can make over a significant part of London compared to other areas. (A local councillor actually elected for the tories in this case.) Well done Mr Pickles, notwithstanding the obvious fall in UKIP vote share compared to 2004.

Just in case anyone is interested I had intended to provide live results & figures on Thursday night but my ISP cut me off on Thursday until this evening so that was very frustratingly impossible.

In those circumstances I have chosen not to comment on anything about the local elections as there is just so much worthy of commenting on, corrections to errors & falsehoods (both good & bad for UKIP), rejoicing at some results & saddened at others that I can't spend all that time making those posts. And making just some of the appropriate posts would leave so many unposted!

I will post the Welsh results on this forum asap unless someone else does so and subject to councils willingness to publish their results online which I haven't yet checked.
