Euroscep is just starting out
Default Richard Barnbrook elected on to London Assembly with 5.4%.

Richard has finished in fifth place tonight in the London Mayoral contest just behind the Green candidate. Notice how they all left the stage when it was Richard's turn to speak apart from a few of the minor candidates. As they scuttled away Richard referred to them as rats leaving a sinking ship. We now await the top-up results for the London Assembly.

This is just what I had hoped for and it is the last thing that the Liberal elite in British politics wanted.

Well done to Richard Barnbrook and team BNP for making it on to the GLA after the endless smears directed at them in the run up to the elections.....

Im guessing the UAF/Searchlight are possibly gonna say that the anti-fascists efforts prevented the BNP from getting 2 or 3 seats in order to look good.

That is right Blueblood1920.......
And in regards to the other so called Nationalistic party's who are represented on this forum these elections have been a disastrous failure for all of them, and I personally have no sympathy for any of them.

And it is totally unbelievable that UKIP who the majority of members on this forum see as fourth biggest political party in this country have been beaten in an election by the NF........

How the bleeding hell did that happen...........

It's still a protest vote though. The BNP wouldn't have had this 'success' if it wasn't for the disasterous immigration policy of New Labour.

I cannot help but feel for those candidates that may be dissapointed in not winning; to me it does not matter one jot whether it is BNP, UKIP or EDP, they all had at least one thing in common and that is a stand against the growing threat of a federal EU.

No doubt there will be many here wishing to gloat, but remember that many of these people that are in parties that deserve "no sympathy" should be commended for at least making the effort and standing above the trenches, ready and willing to take all that is fired upon them, some more so than others perhaps, but all fighting against the odds.

I salute all those brave people and wish them future success when ever they stand.

Yes, I suppose that one must commend Richard Barnbrook, he has done what must have seemed the impossible, and now has put the BNP firmly in place with, according to their website, over 100 councillors nationally. That makes firm foundations for their future elections, and does not look good for UKIP at the moment for next years EuroTrash contest, especially judging on the scale of the vote collapse in London, pretty embarrassing I would have thought for Nigel.

The BNP do represent a certain amount of the public, so they should have someone there.

I give him 5 months.

I respect anyone who stands up against the EU, but would wish they would join the new only hope of fighting the EU politically the BNP.
