UKIP are doing really badly in London.

As I suspected.

Poor base. Shambolic use of members when they had them. It'll take a while before UKIP can build there again.

Most UKIP Londoners seem to be closet Tory/EU fans too.

The UKIP 12% loss matches the loss in Bromley too. Mick McGough is a forum member.

I wrote on the forum last Summer that the UKIP vote was - at that time in the capital - about a third of what it needed to be to hold one of the two seats UKIP won on the London Assembly in June 2004.

It's worse than that. They are barely beating the EDP.

UKIP supporters have flocked back to the Tory fold.
