The Mayor of London and local councillors do not have powers over the above.

    Default Smithfield market

News of the battle to get UKIP-hating europhile Labour leftist Livingstone out of London's City Hall:

"The consensus at Smithfield market is that 'Ken' Livingstone is dead meat" said BBC 2 Newsnight correspondent David Grossman (on Newsnight) on BBC 2 Television at 10.48 pm on 1.5.2008. Boris Johnson MP, the Conservative 2008 Mayoral election candidate, was shown visiting the market.

Default Sky News projection of first round of London Mayoral Election 2008

Sky News have just broadcast a projection of how they think that the first round of voting for the 2008 London Mayoral Election held yesterday went (the following is not the actual result - counting of votes started only 48 minutes ago):

Boris Johnson MP, Conservative - 44%
    Livingstone, Labour - 40%
    Paddick, europhile Liberal 'Democrats' 11%

    * Many political analysts believe that the vote for the Liberal 'Democrats' will split about equally between the Conservative and Labour candidates in the second preference vote distribution.

    Default Labour Party, Prime Minister

And there will be some people in the Labour Party who will share your view Arden.

As we know, she is not the only person after the job of Labour Party leader and Prime Minister.

Yes, Labour deserve to be defeated across the country. Let us hope that europhile UKIP-hating Labour leftist Livingstone doesn't remain in London's City Hall any longer. I want him out as Mayor by this evening (if not before ).

This Labour regime - the most anti-English British Government so far - is dominated by europhiles and I hope more voters will learn that Labour want to destroy our Pound and dissolve the UK into the EU Superstate. The more voters find out that Labour is just carrying out EU orders the more people will not vote for that party.
Well, I for one want to see Labour to survive to fight another day. Better an tired openly europhile Labour government/mayor/council taking us to hell in a handbasket than one made up of faux-eurosceptic Tory liars who get a free pass from the press during their inevitable honeymoon period.
