The BBC site has added BNP (2 gains - grrr!) so they might add UKIP if we get a few early wins. Not holding my breath though!

Labour have lost control of 2 councils so far. Tories have gained control of 6 councils. No change on the Lib Dem front so far.

Tories gained 54 councillors so far, Labour have lost 41 seats, Lib Dems have lost 2 seats.

Liberal Party have lost a councillor on Wyre Forest.
