Default Predictions for the London Elections:

Based on current trends and public opinions, what do you believe will be the results for the London Mayoral Elections and Assembly?

Predictions for:

London Mayor

Make up of parties elected from the 14 Constituencies

Make up of parties elected from the Party Lists

Anybody thinking Londoners will elect 'Boris' after 8 years of Livingstone? Or will Paddick provide an appealing mixture of a solid police career with Liberal Democratic factors?

Will the Tories take greater control of the Assembly? Will 'One London' maintain the seats? Will Labour suffer critical losses across the capital?

I'm sure UKIP would be happy with retaining the seats it won last time. Any UKIP gain is way beyond my personal expectations.

The view of some who have written in the press is that UKIP might be at a disadvantage in the 2008 London Mayoral Election because - unlike the last London Mayoral election - this year's London Mayoral Election will not be held on the same day as the EU Election (i.e. electors may be less likely to vote UKIP - so it has been suggested - in the 2008 London Mayoral Election because the EU issue is not getting as much publicity as it did when the EU Election was held on the same day as the last London Mayoral Election on 10.6.2004).

London Mayoral Election 2008 candidates: Richard Barnbrook - British National Party, Gerard Batten - UK Independence Party, Siân Berry - Green Party, Alan Craig - Christian Peoples Alliance and Christian Party , Lindsey German - Left List, Boris Johnson - Conservative Party, Ken Livingstone - The Labour Party, Winston McKenzie - Independent, Matt O'Connor - English Democrats, Brian Paddick - Liberal Democrats.
