Where does your vote lie?
My vote lies in Carterton North West so this contest is not an issue. People should vote at local elections on local issues. Without seeing the candidates' leaflets and without knowing the ward I couldn't possibly make a decision. If a candidate doesn't distribute a leaflet, doesn't canvass and/or doesn't live in the ward then I would be prejudiced against them. If a candidate has done other local good works - campaigned for a crossing, ran a charity marathon, helped at the local old people's centre - then I would be inclined to give him/her my vote.Originally Posted by If Only

What can you do, I'm in the Wigan ward and if you put the ant-Christ up for election in Wigan the numb heads would elect it. Labour has consistently do nothing in this area except put council tax up year after year.
