Is LPUK dead? The talked about candidature in Oldham East didn't materialise, and there's been very little publicity elsewhere.
There is still a councillor in Stoke using the name.
.
We're still around. We decided that standing in Oldham East wouldn't be the best use of our limited resources. Local elections are more important - and better value - in the near term.

Apparently the LPUK has undergone a recent meltdown. Can anyone clarify?
There was a UKIP press release a few months back which said the LPUK were planning to de-register as a political party. It invited LPUK supporters to join UKIP instead, stressing the ideological kinship between the two parties.
However, I've no idea whether LPUK really has de-registered or not.

They still seem to be registered, with Andrew Peter Withers as Party Leader.
I am a registered member and I can assure you it is still fully functioning.

Thanks for the update. I hope it does well and was sorry at the apparent lack of activity recently.
