The Liberal Party Southampton

Until 2003 there were 3 Liberal cllrs on the city council, all 3 defected from the Lib Dems the year previous.

With the current situation in Southampton the time has never been better for a re-launch of the party locally.

Last I checked they said they didnt believe in the nation state and wanted a commonwealth of Europe

No-one from the Liberal Party stood in the last election. Hopefully by the next local election we will have lots of support.

The Liberal Party did not field any candidates this year but will be focussing on the 2010 locals with some exciting news to be announced shortly.
