On the subject of this thread - let us hope that the europhile Liberal 'Democrats' lose control of Liverpool City Council. I bet they would be furious if your eurosceptic Liberal Party end up holding the balance of power there.

Amazingly enough, that looks like a real possibility. The Liverpool LibDems are certainly in a big mess and on another discussion board one of their supporters predicts that two more of their councillors may resign the whip after the election unless their is a change in the local leadership.
