Will be difficult for him to shrug off a blatant lie like this - particularly now that Brown has been widely rumbled as a liar.

He will no doubt move on to a Clintonesque justification - could'nt remember the 'exact words' or some such.

There seem to be various angles to this guy's hypocrisy.

From Wikipedia:
Huhne owns seven houses – five that are let as rental properties and two in which he lives. (One in Eastleigh, his constituency, and a town house in Clapham, south London).

It does if he's renting them out dirt cheap! But I bet he's carging full market rate.

BTW, his commons majority in Eastleigh is only about 530 votes, wouldn't it be a dreadful shame if the Limp Dims were 'decapitated' come the next GE!
