Default Boris Johnson commments on Gordon Brown & Lib Dims

Boris Johnson, the Conservative MP, writes in today’s Telegraph of claims that Gordon Brown has held talks with Liberal Dim party leader Campbell :x on giving Government jobs to Liberal Dim people  including “Paddy Pantsdown” - and believes that Gordon Brown should now hold an election (brief extracts):

"Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't remember the electorate being asked their views of a Gord-Ming Lib-Lab coalition. It is fraud and double-fraud.

Why is Gordon Brown doing it (talking to the Liberal Dims)? Because he is worried, of course, about his own democratic credentials to lead the United Kingdom.

How can he (Brown) really assess the impact of fees that will never be paid by his own constituents?

He must know in his heart that the position is increasingly morally repugnant, and I would guess that is one reason why he would like to bring in Ming Campbell, his neighbour in Fife. He can see trouble brewing, and would like to forge an alliance with another Scottish party leader against the logical and obvious Tory solution - English votes for English laws.”

Newsnight were saying last night that Brown wanted to bring people from outside the Labour party as people hate tribal politics and he wanted to be inclusive, he asked Campbell about giving Paddy Ashdown a job something Balir wanted to do but Campbell said no. It was the beleif on Newsnight that some people from other partys and of no party will take minister of state jobs, just below cabinet level in the HOL, in other words the appointment of more cronies with no mandate from the electorate.

Chris Pattern and Seb Coe were also mentioned but that was felt to be unlikley.

Brown offered me a job says Ashdown

So the PM to be offers a job to the man who would have had us in the Euro the moment it launched

The first key battle to be won is to make Europe a promianant General Election issue, unless that happens any anti EU party stands no chance of winning a seat.

It also needs the anti EU movement to work together.

Unfortunately there seems more chance of there being complete accord in Brussells!

Ah yes well all the leaders of EU countriys have their egos pointing in the same direction, erroison of the nation state and complete intergration into a country called Europe. The anti Eu movement is to busy squabling amongst itself to do anything constructive as regards opposition.
