People still remember how be put the blade into Kennedy. He won't be around for much longer.

If the Lib Dems had any sense, they would introduce a policy for a referendum on EU membership. That would put the cat amongst the pigeons.

The fact their leadership are EU puppets means this won't happen though.

Default Chirac, EU Constitution, referendum

They're too scared of the answer they might get in a referendum.

Chirac called the EU Constitution referendum in France thinking he'd win it.

The Liberal Democrats make me sick.

To think that they are the result of a party in the 19th century that stood up for what we now call classical liberalism makes my stomach churn. What went wrong?

I have to say that even thought I disagree with many Liberal Democrat policies, Charles Kennedy was a much better leader than Ming will ever be. Ever.

Well I certainly think they had a better chance of progressing further with Kennedy even though apart for Iraq and tution fees I never agreed with him.
