Is the decision not to publish stuff from UKIP one of the editors of the local newspapers? It might be an idea to find out who owns these newspapers, contact someone at the top and complain in writing.

As I am sure you know, Matthew, these local newspapers have to (according to the law) at least provide fair and balanced coverage of all the parties contesting local or other elections being held held in the locality the newspaper is distributed in. This means that they cannot ignore UKIP during the campaign period leading up to polling day.

The BBC reported (as quoted by MKP in the first posting to this thread:Sir Menzies is to visit Woking
How exciting. Not.

I suspect most of Woking couldn't care less.

Default Lib Dim career merchants

Quote:
MKP wrote (in his press release on the vist of Sir Menzies Campbell to Woking): As for the Lib Dem's leading the way on climate change, please do tell us what you have achieved exactly to control our planet's climate. Talk about delusions of grandeur! Your party is just another power grabbing bunch of valueless career merchants, who happily hijack any issue to try and gain support.
I particularly like this bit (above).
