Default Lib 'Dem' MP 'dumps' telly celeb. for Romanian 'pop babe'

ITV Television weather forecaster Sian Lloyd (forty-eight) has been “dumped” by Liberal Dim Party MP Lembit Opik according to today’s News of the World .

He is now seeing a “pop babe” called Gabriela who is exactly half Sian Lloyd's age and who (allegedly) said in a recollection of a recent meeting she had with Mr. Opik “his hands were all over my body.”

Lembit Opik (his ancestry is from Estonia on the Baltic) campaigns against the dangers of large asteroids hitting the Earth and is particularly worried about one due to smash into the planet in 2036 (or pass very closely to the Earth). He has never said anything, however, against the EU. Indeed, like all Liberal Dim Party MPs – he thinks the EU is a good thing  .

Gabriela is Romanian – clearly Opik didn’t wait for the mass influx of Romanians into the UK when the country joins the EU in a couple of weeks (something which, not surprisingly, he and his extreme europhile party fully support).

Mr. Opik represents a Welsh parliamentary constituency. His Mother lives at Inverness in Scotland and he himself speaks with a Northern Irish accent. His new girlfriend's parents are based in East Sussex. So he will be doing alot of travelling from now on.

Lembit Opik was head of Mark Oaten’s campaign to lead the Liberal Dim Party before Oaten pulled out at the start of this year due to a sex scandal regarding his (Oaten’s) private life allegedly involving a Polish male in a south London flat.

The News of the World claims Lembit Opik’s relationship with weather forecaster Sian Lloyd ended because he was (allegedly) partying too much. She observed “Evidently he just isn't capable of an adult relationship.”

Gabriela told the the News of the World that the House of Commons has a fair share of hard core drinkers. Charles Kennedy MP admitted earlier this year that he had had a drink problem before resigning as Liberal Dim party leader.

Lembit Opik's new partner also said that she intended to "dress sexily" when she visits him on Boxing Day  .

Bit like when Mrs Merton asked Debbie McGee

So Debbie McGee. What first attracted you to multimillionaire Paul Daniels?

I remember that interview too. 8)

It's his (Lembit Opik's) private life of course. I just posted the report because many people will know who Sian Lloyd is. In fact, I'm sure more of the public know her than this Opik person.

I can't think of one single political thing Lembit Opik has said with which I would agree. And his party is just a waste of space.

C'mon guys. Credit where it's due, even for a Lib Dem. The 'news' part of this story is that it's a woman involved with a Lib Dem. Bet the Mekon is relieved

Indeed and as far we know she has slept with him willingly as opposed to him paying for it.

Perhaps she didn't know that she doesn't need to "Bop" a politician to be allowed into the UK as her country joins the EU next year?

plus she's a bit of a babe as well  , just goes to show what pulling power being an MP has! I've got no chance , I'm just a lowly UKIP part time leaf-letter and envelope stuffer! I also have to consider the age gap, Lembit Opik is only old enough to be her Father, I'm old enough to be her Grandfather and if I came from certain parts of Plymouth, her great Grandfather!
