Independent UKIP has some supporters
Default

I'm not aware that UKIP has offically got any PPC's at all. Sure some local areas may know exactly who they want to be the PPC but they all have to be authorised by the centre. I recall Spon Plague writing here how last minute things were for him at the last election. If Brown or whoever call a snap election UKIP will be in big trouble if it doesn't start selecting candidates now.

Doing so could impact on the BOO policy however, eg selecting a candidate now for that person to be latterly subject to expulsion for standing against a better placed liblabcon candidate who signs BOO would not be good for party morale.
