Default Brown, officially, unofficially, livid, political 'honeymoon', Question Time

Officially Brown looked irritated but composed during today's Prime Minister's Question Time.

Unofficially (i.e. behind the scenes) I bet he was livid at those who he thinks have helped wreck his political 'honeymoon' so soon.

Apparently Blairites are now briefing against Jack Dromey, Harriet Harman's husband. I bet they see him as a good scalp. Nice lot, aren't they?

The problem for Brown is that he is now seen as ridiculous and he doesn't have the personality to overcome that.

My feelings towards Labour or Brown can't go any lower. They are about the same as my feelings for Blue Labour and the Lib Dems. Rock bottom.

I find it hard to believe there is much change in opinion from one day to the next now. Smells like a big puppet show to me, to con people into thinking we have some sort of democracy and say in things.

Also I find YouGov biased in the direction of Labour. You need to add a few points to get the exact amount. Anyway, even coming from them the polling man said it is the biggest slide in the history of polls. Another first for Nu Labour to go with the greatest data loss of all time. So I think Brown will be kicked out.

The more Labour fall out with each other internally the more they will suffer in opinion polls and in local council By-Elections.

And they deserve to do badly at the polls for so many reasons - including for the fact they told us as a pack of lies at the last General Election when they promised a referendum on the EU Constitution (which, of course, they won't give us now).

Labour deceived the voters with their bogus EU Constitution referendum pledge (at the last General Election) and if we cannot have them punished for their lies on this I very much welcome them doing badly in opinion polls for other reasons.

Default Australian Labour Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, tax, elections, Howard, Kinnock, polls

He has the power to promise and deliver big tax cuts if he has to - last weekend the Australian Labour opposition leader Kevin Rudd pledged tax cuts as big as those promised by Prime Minister Howard. Many electors liked what they heard and consequently replaced Mr. Howard with Mr. Rudd as their Prime Minister the same day.

Gordon Brown is in the driving seat and has two and half years to rectify any errors he and his team have made so far.

I would be very pleased if Labour lost the next General Election - but I recall 'false dawns' for Labour opposition leader Kinnock in 1987 and 1992 when he was defeated in General Elections despite having been previously well ahead of the Conservative Government in opinion polls.

Default "kicked out", British electorate

He has more chance of being "kicked out" by his own party before the next General Election than by the British electorate.
