Today’s Telegraph reports that:
The Government was attacked by a Labour MP yesterday over plans to axe 2,500 post offices as pensioners and other consumer groups attended a rally in Westminster to protest against the closures. Kate Hoey, the MP for Vauxhall, said that the Government was taking work away from post offices and allowing key products to be sold elsewhere or on the internet, thereby making it difficult for offices to be commercially viable. There’s more on this at:  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main...21/npost21.xml Britannist adds: Kate Hoey MP is a eurosceptic. |
