Default 'Fallen Blair babe' ex-MP found dead near 15 vodka bottles

The News of the World reports today that “Fallen Blair babe Fiona Jones was found dead on her bed surrounded by 15 empty bottles of vodka."

And the newspaper says of the former Labour MP for Newark in Nottinghamshire "The glamorous former MP, once the female face of New Labour, drank herself to death after her political career collapsed in turmoil.”

And he reveals how the blonde beauty, who once alleged a Cabinet minister had offered her sex in return for promotion, was:

DRIVEN to heavy drinking by her high-pressure life at the booze-sodden House of Commons

HOUNDED in a witch-hunt over her election expenses that wrecked her career and fuelled her alcoholism, and

DESERTED by the Labour Party who failed to support her even when she was cleared of any guilt.
No suspicous circumstances then.

I found this story to be desperatley sad, did not her colleagues at westminster not see what was happening to her when she was an MP, she seems to have had little support once she lost her seat either.

Lack of christian compassion from a party led by a man who proclaims his faith at every opportunity.

According to one report I read about this event, her husband claimed that many of the MPs were too sozzled to notice anything, including what they were voting for and discussing.

Default Dim Labour MPs

Some Labour MPs brain power can just about cope with opening a can of lager - and nothing more. They haven't got a clue what they're voting on - even when sober. The EU Constitution, for instance, doesn't worry them, because they wouldn't understand it even if they had bothered reading it. I doubt if anyone in the Government has read the text of the EU Constitution treaty.

Labour are not a Christian party. Most of them couldn't care less about the church or doing genuine good for the poor or disadvantaged.

'Tony' Bliar has been keen to be seen as a Christian or to be photographed coming out of churches - but has done absolutely nothing to help the churches in any way. He is a bogus Christian. Indeed, he is worse than someone who openly admits to being agnostic or atheist. At least they are honest.

The churches face huge bills to maintain their infrastructure. Repairs cost a great deal of money. Cutting VAT (i.e. on church repair bills) is, apparently, illegal under EU law, but the Treasury could help in other ways and hasn't. Even though the man who controls the Treasury (Brown) is the son of a church minister.

We know about Labour's decision on adoption (against the wishes of the Roman Catholic church) last week - made despite the protests of Labour's Roman Catholic MPs who now fear losing votes in their constituencies.

Today, it was announced that the abortion rate in January 2007 in the UK reached record levels. Labour has done nothing to reduce the abortion rate. Indeed its actions have encouraged it.

If Labour ever was interested in the view of the Church of England/Scotland/Ireland or the Roman Catholic church - it isn't now. Blair/Brown's Lie-bour Party relies heavily on what some call the 'Muslim bloc vote' and now takes the Christian votes it gets for granted.

It really is time for Christians in the UK to stop voting for Labour or for anyone whose votes (in the Commons) or actions undermine Christianity.

Default Mrs. Helen Clark (former Labour MP) writes about Fiona Jones

Mrs. Helen Clark (formerly Mrs. Helen Brinton) was the Labour MP for Peterborough up until the last General Election. Helen soon got tired of Blair’s lies, rightly ceased supporting him and became a leading member of the Labour group against the euro (now known as Labour against the EU Superstate) before she lost her seat.

Today in the Guardian, Helen’s article about her former colleague, the Late Fiona Jones, appears. Fiona Jones was the Labour MP for Newark in Nottinghamshire (just up the train line from Peterborough). Mrs. Jones died last week.
