LOL! Im bored with blair. Im 16 and have had to put up with him for nearly 10 years. I think a prime minister should serve a maximum of 2 terms in office, like in the states. That way it does not become in away a sort of one man dictatorship. And the political scene is always refreshed. And that would get more voters out. And it would be more democratic.

Personally I'm of the opinion that if the people want them back in, let them back in.

I am of that opinion too.

BUT

When 1 in 5 do want him and the other 4 don't but can't get their act together, something is wrong.

I agree. The two-terms only rule on Presidents of the USA prevented a great man like Ronald Reagan from seeking a third term as President. Had he fought an election for a third term - he most definitely would have won.

It is the law in America that all Presidents have to undergo an annual medical to confirm their fitness to retain office.

There was that figure that said only around 38% of voters voted for Blair and labour, so most who voted did not want him. And then there were those who did not vote, which would make it a greater number. I heard porportional representation is a fairer system. But it often leads to coalation governments.

Coalition governments (except in wartime) in my opinion don't work. Just imagine a government made up of the Lib/Lab/Con+ UKIP and the BNP all with an equal input, trying to reach a conclusion on Britain's membership of the EU and what to do about Immigration!

Straight proportional representation isn't great in terms of getting things done, but then we might not have had ID cards, foundation hospitals, regional assemblies, house arrest etc if we had had it in place instead of this authoritarian Labour party bringing in whatever it wants to.

There are compromise solutions such as AV+ and the Total representation system promoted by UKIP. These offer the best of both systems, i.e. 500 contituency MPs plus 100-150 top up regional MPs.
