I am a member of the Fareham (Hants) branch of UKIP, and hoping to make contact with members from any of the other local branches.

I'm not sure if something has escaped my radar beam, but why has UKIP made very little presence in Fareham to date? Fareham was one of the few constituencies where the Referendum Party saved its deposit in the 1997 general election. Is there a reason why UKIP failed to capitalise on that success?

being quite new to the party, I do not know the answer to your question, I'm sorry to say. But I believe things are going to change over the coming months.
