Apparently I broke a rule by using a quote from Brittanist into my signature and as a result was banned for a month, but rejoice for I have returned.

I would like to offer a sincere and wholehearted apology to Brittanist for any offence caused. It was meant not as a deadly insult but more as a tongue in cheek remark. I appreciate that this does not always come over easily in written form but there you go.

As far as I know. The message read "Reason: Insulted other members" and this was just after I put the quote in my sig. He asked for it to be linked, which I did. Next thing I know, I'm banned.

Having said that, rules are rules and although I think a month ban was harsh I'm not going to complain about it. As far as I'm concerned it's history.

George also (in writing in two threads) called me a liar TEN TIMES within about two hours - therefore breaking forum rules ten times. It was for those reasons that he was not allowed to contribute to this forum for four weeks.

Indeed I hold my hands up to this. I have apologised, both in a PM and publicly, for breaking the rules.

I would point out that I stated that I was born in Croydon, have lived virtually all my life so far in South East England, am English and now live in Poland. Brittanist has professed that he does not believe any of this to be true. Now while he may not have used the "L" word that is, in my opinion, the same as calling me a liar. I scanned a copy of my British passport clearly showing Croydon as place of birth. This proves that I am British and was born in Croydon. I have no desire to constantly point out that Brittanist is wrong and will not call him a liar again. However, I would be very happy if a moderator could confirm that my IP address is in Poland. I would also like Brittanist to apologise and accept that these facts are true. I did mention this to him in my PM but nothing has happened.
