Never talked to you before but welcome back.

I'm another whose been disciplined for using the 'L' word.

Not that ommiting that word makes any difference to keeping things truthful of course.
In my experience, people can get away with saying practically anything they want on here.

But to be fair, I suppose that's democracy ?
I'm not sure......

If you can prove someone lied, then calling them a liar is hardly an insult.

If you can't prove it though, then probably best not open yourself up to a ban.

It's not democracy, it's free licence. There is a difference and you are right to question whether it is democracy.

It's quite okay to lie about people on here and to insult them, just don't fight back if someone does this to you. That isn't democracy either, it's nepotism.

One has to question, therefore, whether democracy isn't just a lot like God, largely a function of wish fulfilment.

Yeah, I've also confirmed Georges IP address through this forum's moderation panel.

IP addresses can be spoofed but it is pretty unlikely though.

Even if you can prove someone has lied, maybe the moderators are selective about which threads they choose to respond to and take action on.

To be fair though, I don't blame them for not getting involved.
They're just trying to keep the peace and they rise above the tit for tat rows which naturally occur, so I can't blame them.

They are leading by example to a certain extent.....
