This is a well-supported forum. It's hardly dying on its feet.

As has been pointed out, unsolicited invitations intended to 'poach' members of other forums invariably backfire. As for sending mass invites to friends I think most of us would prefer to keep our friends, thank you.

Depends on where you put the link or advert and in what form it takes, a little signature underneath what you are posting on another site shouldn't cause too much trouble, should it? Anyway isn't it up to you to find out what it's about and click on the link or pursue the advert back to source?
