Good evening to anyone out there.I have looked on in disbelief over the last ten years as the country and the way of life I was brought up to believe in has been systematically dismantled by A.Blair,G.Brown et al.This is the culmination of the madness set in train by E.Heath in 1973,when he signed us up to the madness that is the E.E.C. or E.U. or Common Market or whatever you want to call it.
I ,like countless other British people,have seen my rights (and responsibilities)diminished and eradicated,especially in the last ten years.If you have read Orwell's "Animal Farm" or "1984"or "Fahranheit 451"(I can't remember the author's name),you will know where I'm coming from.
I hate political correctness,love commonsense and believe in the maxim,"When in Rome,do as the Romans do." This means that if you want to move to and live in this great country,then learn the laungage,learn the rules,respect the way of life of the majority indigenous population and we will let you live your life free from interference,respect your religion and let you be your own person.
There's me in a nutshell.Oh by the way I was born in Scotland,moved to England when I was 10.I have a Welsh wife and a daughter who was born in Brighton so that just about makes me Mr United Kingdom.I am proud to be British and I dislike people who try to run my country down for what happened in the past ie The British Empire,the slave trade,various wars,in general the past.That was then,this is now.The past is history.Hopefully we have learned from it;if not we are doomed to repeat it!

I prefer "Untied Kingdom". More subtle since it can look like a typo.
