Well, I found this website. I've been very concerned with the EU because of it's parallels happening in my own country (with the North American Union), and feel for y'all. Most of our better traditions, and much of our culture, and even part of most of our families trace back to you in Britain. And, we could have never written the Constitution without the magna carta.
Anyway, I wanted to touch base with some of you. Get your ideas as to whats happening, and how to stop the rise of what I can't describe as anything other than evil in both our homes. |

Welcome aboard. I am hopeful that the American people are waking up faster than us mugs ever will.

I think it's several things. One is the mass influx of Mexicans across our border, and this after 9/11. Makes us pause.
Second, well alot of us are sore over NAFTA. It's not free trade, it's government managed trade. Now, we have an expansion of it? I think not. No one I know wants to fund Mexico's bad behaviour (ie their elite nasty government). Three is Ron Paul. Many Conservatives who felt left out by the Republican Party are behind the man. He speaks the truth in a way politicians normally just don't. The thing I wonder is does anyone have a theory as to why this is happening in very different places. Why we're all getting supra-national government attempts. From my perspective I live in a resource rich nation with an intelligent workforce, and the breadbasket of the world. You all live on a medium sized island off the coast of Europe, largely dependent on trade, and effectively handling it. But, despite our differences as to the fundamental nature of our countries, we are facing ultimately the same problem. How to prevent this. I still wonder though, what is the reason. And can it be coincidence. It doesn't feel that way. |

It's a driven agenda by the people who hold most of the wealth and power in this world.
You'll still get called a conspiracy nut for thinking it, but then that suits their agenda too.

Well, I've heard those theories, and I don't think it's much of a coincidence that the US lost most of it's industrial base.
But, the ultimate plan? What do these idiots want? I hate to say it, but Britain is finished in terms of resisting this evil. Not only is there the problem of numbers from your side, but also of political power. But, America isn't. Alot of us are armed. And, we won't stand idly by while our bill of rights, while our country is torn from under us. And enough of us are waking up, it very well won't come to that. We very possibly might make a peaceful political solution. But, I... well this isn't something they can win. You don't "win" in this scenario. You survive. Attempting to form the world into economic blocs which it has no particular interest in forming is well, stupid. And when the people eventually push back it is very hard, and unpredictable. |

I agree. Britain was beaten years ago. Only us "nutters" are stupid enough to keep trying.

One thing I've thought before (because Switzerland might be in a permutation of this position shortly), is if you are in the EU, things get bad in a dramatic way, and you take back the local government, why can't you just pull out of the EU at that point?
Who's gonna stop you? I mean, the EU ain't gonna send troops in, and if it did, well, Brussels is a very short trip in a bomber out of Heathrow. Last edited by mordechai; 31-07-2007 at 09:54 AM. |

We are being eaten away from within. They have full control over out political class and the media is on side too.
Thus there is no us to defend. We are a corpse.
