Default Hello people!

Just a quick hello to you all.

Im a hard working lorry driver, who is fed up paying high taxes and getting little back for it.

Every day I drive through parts of this country which is going to the dogs because of of the present and past governments faillures to stand up for the British people.

Not a UKIP memeber, as i dont think the party can ever become a force in politics. However i do agree with nearly of all UKIP's policys and did vote for them in the 2005 General Election.

I have toyed with the idea of joining the Tories, UKIP or the BNP in the past but there has always been doubts in my mind about that party.

Anyway look forward to hopefully contributing to this site!

'Tis worth bearing in mind, no matter which party is angling for your vote, very few of their policies can be put into effect, over-ridden as they are by EU policies.

This is why UKIP, while not being a single-issue party, has the matter of the EU as its main focus.

That under the EU laws which our government has adopted the UK can not deport folks who have entered the country and proceeded to carry out serious crimes is the current obvious issue regarding the manner in which we have no control over our own policies.

Indeed, our government has scored an own goal here by saying it will sort things out and the offenders will be deported, while at the same time knowing that it many instances it can not do this thing.

Yes i agree with you 100% we need to leave the EU, and scrap the Human Rights Act if were ever going to be able to implement our own laws again.

The fact is the Tories are in favour of staying in the EU, and so if elected into power will still come up against the same problems. Therefore in my opinion there is a massive difference between them and UKIP, and what ive heard about UKIP costing the Tories 27 seats at the last election is just garbage.

I read the Blair now wants to deport every foreign criminal. I think everyone knows thats not going to happen. And just think of all the work hes now found his lovely wife in being able to quote the Human Rights Act....
