Default Hello - I need some convincing.

Dear all,

I just wanted to introduce myself as a potential (returning) young (23) member of UKIP.

I was a Conservative member from 2000-2004 when UKIP was brought to my attentions (and gained my vote) in the run up to the European Elections. I then felt great optimism and a real feeling that UKIP really represented me and my thinking, so I became a member. After a year of continuing hope I was disappointed by the showing in the General Election and with the potential of new era of Conservative revival I switched back, and subsquently voted for David Davis in the leadership contest. Since then I have felt very disillusioned with the way Cameron is taking the Conservatives. The final straw came with his comments about UKIP members being "racists" and since then I have been very much regained desires to rejoin UKIP (unfortunately there was no UKIP candidate in my local election). So now I feel I have come to a crossroads and I would love to rejoin UKIP but I am very disappointed in the showing in the recent elections from UKIP (though media attention does play a big part in this) and I just need assuring that UKIP does have significant future potential in this country. I do harbour ambitions to become very active and involved in politics but can I achieve these with UKIP?

Thanks very much for reading - I look forward to interesting discussions on these forums.

Regards,
Lee

I see no reason why not, UKIP has several councillors and 10 MEPs. I am also an ex Tory disillusioned by Camoron, so sign up by all means. Welcome.

I can only advise you to trust your initiative and loyalty to your Queen and Country.
UKIP may not at this time be the most popular with the media or have the seats to run this country in local or parliamentary government yet, But you have to decide what more important to be associated with dominate Parties that once had a proud history for defending and conserving this country traditions and laws to protect the people, that have now strayed and have lost their faithfulness and loyalty to ones Country. These Parties have changed since 1972, They now all serve a old idealism of socialism so that it is very differicult to distinguish what Party is left or right or in the middle, who do they serve now, they have become very collected as parties and limited in what they can do to govern in this Sovereign state by signing over power losing treaties, they are now controlled by this Covertness New European Soviet Union masters and it's binding legislation that has the same structure and complex of the USSR. The Question to ask yourself is who reigns over this Country? Is it to late to regain our Great Kingdom in the interests of the people of Great Britain and it's British Constitution, its body of law that has protected the people of this country for hundreds of years in local and parlianmentary house with it's provisional civil servants!!
The choice is yours sir, choose the main Parties and lose your Country or
join the few that are fighting for the many to keep this Country Free and British!!!
Oh by the way Welcome back

Default Not wel known, but right

Hiya, whilst UKIP are not well known or the most popular, they are the right party. they tell the truth. just wait and see what happens. gradually they are being more well known, and ur support will be even better for them. tell as many people as you can about UKIP and everything that they do
