Hello one and all.

I arrive here due to sheer disillusionment. Since the age of 14, I've been a member of the Conservative party. In recent years, I've grown entirely sick of their constant fraternising with limp, overly left wing agendas, their excruciating pandering to an increasingly alienated and uninterested electorate and their peurile infighting over Europe. I sought an alternative.

The very idea of supporting, let alone voting, for Blair's motley bunch of crumbly, superficial residivists is enough to make me gag. The other party in our supposed three party system have never suggested to me that they are anything but a laughable bunch of mutes.

Having heard much about UKIP, but never having garnered a full knowledge of their aims or history, I spent time poring over all available UKIP resources. Having been fully converted, I signed up yesterday.

I 'spose it's time I stopped boring you all to death, and got down from my proverbial soapbox. But anyway, I'm Kris, and am happy to join Britain's fourth largest political party at a very exciting time in its maturation.
