Do you mean permanent occupation of Iraq & Afghanistan?? I see you haven't mentioned Yemen ... Jordan ... Iran, where much of the West's oil comes from ... Saudi Arabia, where much of the West's oil comes from.... There are plenty of other countries with considerable Islamic populations too.

No I don't think that the occupations of these countries will be permanent. The policies will vary over time. Where there are strong economic ties, these nations may be less likely to cause problems for the West.

More importantly, our internal and external defences should be matched.

I feel that UKIP is weak on foreign policy. Quite correctly, we must withdraw from the EU but we still need to maintain strong bonds with chosen allies.

UKIP is weak on many things at the moment. The new chair is making some good noises though.
